Jingtong Railway Station is the terminus of the Pingxi Line and one of the few historical stations in Taiwan that retains its Japanese-style wooden structure. The station was once a vital hub for coal transportation, witnessing the prosperity and golden age of Jingtong Mining. Its elegant architecture, wooden structure, and retro design preserve its former glory, attracting tourists to take photos and visit. The station and its surrounding environment combine railway culture with old street scenery, allowing visitors to experience mining history, local customs, and the charm of the mountain town while traveling by train.
