Benshan Fifth Mine is the best-preserved of the nine mines in Benshan, retaining facilities such as air compressors, mine carts, washrooms, and ore-hauling cableways used in the past. The tunnels fully recreate the mining operation scene, allowing visitors to learn up close about the early mining history and techniques of Jinguashi. The Fifth Mine is not only an industrial site but also an important cultural preservation point. Through artifact displays and historical explanations, it bears witness to a century of mining development and local economic prosperity, making it a unique attraction for exploring the mining history of Jinguashi.
